Mission

The mission of the Kettering Development Corporation (KDC) is to support and improve the community’s future through the redevelopment of commercial and residential properties in the City of Kettering, Ohio. KDC will work with the city of Kettering to maintain and improve the community by increasing jobs and expanding the tax base. The KDC will work to preserve and enhance the quality of life for all community residents and businesses.

Objectives

• Support local economic development activities to create and retain jobs
• Improve the economic base by bringing in new business and expanding existing businesses
• Rehabilitate the Kettering community and neighborhoods by providing quality housing opportunities
• Revitalization of vacant structures and creation of new developments (commercial and residential)
